LUMIBOU

The context

Lumibou was born at home, when my son was born: an app to log bottles, sleep, nappies, medication and growth with one hand, even at three in the morning, so that both parents see the same thing live. Tested with the family, then opened to other families, it became a product in its own right.

What I built

• The app : one shared logbook per family, one-tap buttons, bottle timer, next-nap prediction, WHO growth curves, teeth, milestones, medication reminders, daily reports and trends, night mode.
• Several families, several roles : parents, grandparents and childminders on the same logbook, with a professional plan for handovers to parents.
• Technical : installable web app (PWA) in PHP and SQLite, push notifications without any third-party service, encrypted backups, device registered with a one-time code and a PIN, iOS and Android apps generated from the same code with Capacitor.
• The website : 54 pages in French (features, baby's rhythm month by month, free tools, journal, comparisons) translated into 15 languages, with a mascot and photos of real families with the app composited in.
• Operations : hosting in France, monitoring, backups, updates without downtime, deployment locked against double pushes.

Result

A complete product designed, drawn, developed and operated by one person, from the idea to the app stores. It is also my full-scale demonstration of what I deliver as custom software.
