The context
High District, a premium CBD brand, wanted a store with a highly crafted experience (mood, animations, dated drops, loyalty programme) without sacrificing speed or operations: orders had to land directly in the workshop ERP.
What I built
- Medusa v2 backend in server / worker architecture, dedicated Redis, catalogue synced from the ERP (products, prices, stock, images).
- Next.js storefront : product pages, checkout with PayGreen (3-D Secure), Boxtal for delivery, promo codes, customer accounts, age check, blog, SEO-optimised category pages.
- Visuals : product scenes generated by AI from a mood bank editable in the admin, optimised packshots (WebP, weight divided by 8 on the grids).
- Bridges : order → ERP (HMAC signature, anti-replay), shipment ERP → store, catalogue ERP → store.
- Security : after an intrusion attempt on the server, update, non-root containers, firewall, key rotation, backups.
- Marketing : multi-link page for campaigns, transactional emails, reworked mobile checkout.
Result
A fast, singular store, where every order lives in the management tool with no intervention, ready for dated launches.
